Mohsin Naqvi - Attackers Not Baloch Terrorists, Strong Reply

Federal Interior Minister and Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Mohsin Naqvi, made a significant statement during a press conference in Lahore, clarifying that those involved in the recent attacks in Balochistan are angry Baloch rather than terrorists. He emphasized that Pakistan will deliver a strong response to the culprits behind the violence in Balochistan.

Mohsin Naqvi said that outside forces are controlling the attackers to cause problems in Balochistan and confirmed that they are terrorists. He denied any intelligence failures and assured that security agencies were fully prepared to handle the situation. He also mentioned that both provinces are working together to keep the Kacha area stable.

The interior minister further elaborated that terrorism remains the primary concern for the country at this time. This has all been part of a well-thought-out plan, he said, expressing concern over the involvement of external forces and local actors in orchestrating the attacks.

According to Mohsin Naqvi, the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) political party has played a significant role in recent terrorist activities across Pakistan. He pointed out that the TTP operates from its headquarters in Afghanistan, adding that several key figures involved in the attacks are individuals who were left behind in the aftermath of past operations. The people we left behind are now perpetrating acts of terrorism, Mohsin Naqvi explained.

During his address, Mohsin Naqvi did not shy away from acknowledging the broader security challenges Pakistan faces. He indicated that other hostile forces, in addition to the TTP, are actively participating in the recent wave of violence, particularly in Balochistan.

It should be noted that over the past 24 hours, Balochistan has been hit hard by a series of terrorist incidents that have claimed the lives of at least 40 people. The attacks have sent shockwaves throughout the region and raised concerns over the deteriorating security situation.

Balochistan Hit Hard by a Series of Terrorist Incidents

In one of the deadliest incidents, 11 people, including security personnel, were killed, and six others injured in Kalat district, according to Kalat Superintendent of Police (SP) Dostin Dashti. The overnight violence in the district left local communities in mourning and heightened fears of further attacks.

Meanwhile, Kutch Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Dost Mohammad Bugti reported that the bodies of six individuals bearing bullet wounds were recovered from the Bolan district. These gruesome findings have only added to the growing sense of alarm.

Overnight Violence in the District

In another horrific incident in the Rara Sham area of Mosikhel district, 23 people were pulled from trucks and passenger buses, identified, and then executed. The calculated nature of these attacks has led to further outrage and calls for swift justice.

As the situation develops, the government is under pressure to restore order and bring those responsible to justice. The recent attacks have reignited debates about the effectiveness of security measures and the need for stronger intelligence coordination.

Horrific Incident in the Rara Sham

Mohsin Naqvi assured the nation that the government and security agencies are committed to tackling the terrorist threat. He promised a quick and strong response, stating that they were ready to confront both internal and external dangers to secure the country.

The situation in Balochistan remains tense, and the authorities are on high alert as they work to prevent further incidents. Meanwhile, the people of Balochistan are left grappling with the aftermath of the violence, hoping for a swift resolution to the ongoing crisis.

Complex Security Challenges in Balochistan

The attacks have once again highlighted the complex security challenges in Balochistan, where external influences, militant groups, and internal tensions have combined to create a volatile situation. The government’s response in the coming days will be critical in determining whether peace can be restored to this troubled region.
