Bollywood actress Ananya Panday is currently promoting her new Netflix cyber-thriller CTRL, which talks about online privacy and freedom. During a recent interview, she shared a fun childhood story about Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan.
As reported by Bollywood Hungama, Ananya Panday explained that she used to vlog her day-to-day life as a child. She never posted these videos anywhere, but she would record everything she did. She then shared a funny memory involving Aryan Khan, Suhana Khan, and Shanaya Kapoor, who were all her close friends growing up. She laughed as she said, Aryan Khan used to joke around and threaten us that if we didn’t do what he wanted, he’d leak my vlogs. He knew all about them, but luckily, he never shared them!
Interestingly, Ananya Panday had previously admitted on Koffee With Karan Season 7 that she had a childhood crush on Aryan Khan. This playful comment came up again during the interview, with the host joking that he would ask Aryan Khan about it. Ananya Panday also talked about her vlogs, saying she often recorded makeup tutorials. Even today, she sometimes talks to herself in the mirror while getting ready, just like she did as a child.
CTRL was released on Netflix on October 4, 2024. Directed by Vikramaditya Motwane and co-written with Avinash Sampath, the film is produced by Nikhil Dwivedi and Arya Menon under Saffron Magic Works and Andolan Films. The thriller stars Ananya Panday and Vihan Samat and focuses on the themes of privacy and the digital world.
