Reading University’s research reviewed 40 people, and researchers discovered that eating 2 apples a day could reduce harmful cholesterol (LDL) levels by about 4 percent.

Researchers say that because of the high amount of fiber in apples, the fruit contains high amounts of soluble fiber which can help reduce the levels of harmful cholesterol in the blood.
The 40 individuals involved in the study had high blood cholesterol levels and were advised to eat 2 apples daily for 8 weeks.
In the end, it was found that the level of harmful cholesterol had decreased by about 4%.
Researchers also discovered that apple eaters are healthier and their blood vessels are more relaxed.
He said that people who eat 2 large apples daily have lower LDL cholesterol levels but do not affect cholesterol levels for health.
“We believe that the fiber and polyphenols in apples are important, and they are the favorite fruit of all ages,” he said.
They said that the use of apples may seem to reduce harmful cholesterol, but it can help reduce the risk of diseases related to blood vessels.
The results of this research were published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, and researchers believe that eating this fruit may benefit women more than men, but further research is needed to confirm this.
Earlier in 2016, an Oxford University study found that a banana or an apple a day reduces the risk of death from complications caused by blood vessels, up to a third.
However, the study states that the fruit should be fresh, as most of the processed fruits lose their medical benefits.

According to research, these fruits contain potassium, fiber, antioxidants and other ingredients, but it is not yet clear how they prevent these deadly diseases.
