Sami Khan Personal life
Sami was brought to this world on the 6th of July 1980 in Lahore, Pakistan where he spent all his life. He still lives there to this date but often visits Karachi for his work.
He achieved his early education from his home town Lahore, after which he achieved his higher education in Civil Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore. Though professionally, he is an engineer he did not continue in that field and landed tested his luck and auditioned for a role in a film back in 2004.
Sami is a self-made artist, who has a non-artistic background his younger brother Taifoor Khan also became the part of Showbiz after Sami’s entry in the industry.
Sami is married to Shanzay Khan, who has no link with the industry a few years ago in a family event. The couple was blessed with a beautiful baby girl.
Sami Khan CAREER
Despite being an engineer Sami played his luck and made his Lollywood debut in 2004 with Salakhain, where he featured the role of a young police officer named Mansoor. His debut drama serial was Dil Se Dil Tak which was originally broadcast on PTV. It was an instant hit and gained him a lot of fame.
‘Ghar Ki Khatir’ was another drama serial he featured in, it was appreciated by the viewers and the critics and won him the award for Best Actor in the 16th PTV awards ceremony, held on July 23, 2011 f He is also the recipient of the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz (which is the fourth highest civilian award), in the Performing Arts Category in 2012. Further, He was also nominated for Best Actor at Lux Style Awards for his outstanding performance in drama series Main (2013).
