Fawad Afzal Khan Introduction:
Fawad Khan, the famous Pakistani heart-throb winning all hearts nationally and internationally. Fawad is a Pakistani actor, producer, screenwriter, model and singer, recently he also made a debut in Bollywood, where he got famous for his chocolaty looks, his powerful expression and impressive performance which was why his fandom grew greatly and his demand in the industry doubled.
Fawad not only worked in several projects he gained recognition for them as well, But He has also received several awards, including a Filmfare Award, three Lux Style Awards and six Hum Awards.
Fawad Afzal Khan Early life
Fawad early life took place in Lahore, He was born in a family of Pathan ancestry, brother to two sisters one of which is his older sister, Aliya, who is an architect by profession and his younger sister is Sana who is a physician.
Fawad’s father was in pharmaceutical sales by profession which initially required the family to live in When Khan was young, his father was in pharmaceutical sales, which required the family to live in Athens, Dubai, Riyadh and Manchester, which is of course why Fawad had to go to an American school.
He mentioned in an interview, his experience in that school which wasn’t that satisfying as he as a child was bullied a lot due to racial issues and also because he was shy by nature.
After moving back to Pakistan, Khan along with his family settled in Lahore.
Furthermore, Fawad continued his studies after moving back to his homeland, he passed his A-levels at the Lahore Grammar School (LGS) with good grades and completed his bachelor’s degree in software engineering from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences (NUCES) in Lahore.
Fawad tried hard to find a job as a programmer but sadly couldn’t, which was why he gave singing and acting a chance.
Fawad Afzal Khan Career
Initially, Fawad was a member of the band Entity Paradigm, a rock band based in Lahore, Pakistan, After gaining a lot of fame through music, He was offered acting offers.
Fawad first-ever debut in acting was with Ahmed Ali butt, where Fawad played the role of a clumsy spy named Bond with his bandmate back in 2001 in a sitcom Jutt and Bond. After that he played the lead in Pakistan’s all-time famous movie ‘Khuda ke liye’ which was Fawad’s debut film in Pakistan as well, it was Shoaib Mansoor’s social drama, where our favourite hero played a musician who was brainwashed and miss lead by the local maulvis of the area.
In 2007 when the film was released Fawad received the Lux Style Award for Best Actor – Film in 2008. This was just the start of the success of this star.

Fawad Afzal Khan in Bollywood debut
Expected to make a debut after Khuda ke liye but due to the countries political issues with India, Our hero wasn’t able to then. A few years after he did his first-ever Bollywood debut in Shashanka Ghosh’s 2014 comedy-drama movie named Khoobsurat, with Sonam Kapoor the female lead and Fawad played Vikram Singh Rathore, the male lead and love Interest of Sonam.
Fawad having a strong fan base in countries such as UK, UAE, India most part of the middle east and of course his own country, Pakistan.
After the huge success of Khubsurat and massive love from all over the world, Fawad received an award for Best Male Debut in the Filmfare awards which indeed was a huge success for the blooming star.
Furthermore, After Khubsurat, Fawad for Bollywood also did a supporting role in Shakun Batra’s family drama, Kapoor & Sons. In which he gained immense critic reviews and praises, as he delivered the role of a homosexual with perfection which indeed, is for anyone a hard role to pull off.
After that in 2016, Khan appeared in a supportive role within Karan Johar’s Later in 2016, Khan appeared in a small role in Karan Johar’s romantic drama film, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
Priorities
Being a married man and having a Muslim background Fawad clarified to the directors that he will not perform any bold scene in any Indian movie, He even refused to do a bold scene with the Bollywood sweetheart Alia Bhatt in his recent film Kapoor and sons.
