His fourth studio album, “Views”, influenced by the dancehall genre broke many records, staying at the top of the Billboard 200 for ten weeks in a row, becoming the first album released by a male artist to do so, ten years after the last time. The second single of the project, One Dance, reached the first position on the charts of many countries in the world; in 2016, Drake simultaneously held the top spot on both the Billboard 100 and Billboard 200 for eight weeks.
First Single
The first single, Hotline Bling, won the best rap song award at the Grammy Awards. In 2017 he released the compilation More Life, defined by the artist as a “playlist”, to give space to other artists in the project. In 2018 the singles God’s Plan, extracted from the EP Scary Hours, and Nice for What allowed him to set other records again: the first debuted at the top of the Billboard 100 and remained there for eleven weeks in a row, and was then replaced by the second, which debuted directly at #1, making Drake one of the very few artists in history to have two consecutive #1 singles.
Drake holds several records on the Billboard charts; holds the record for most songs by a solo artist to appear on the charts (154), the most songs featured simultaneously in a week on the Billboard Hot 100 (24), the most time on the chart with at least one song (431 weeks) and the most songs debuted on the Hot 100 in one week (21). He is one of the most successful rappers of the past 20 years, having sold around 86 million units worldwide. He is also the owner of a label, OVO Sound, founded in 2012.

The father is a musician while the mother’s family is involved in art. Graham attended the Forest Hill Collegiate Institute and began acting in high school after being suggested by an agent.
Graham played the role of Jimmy Brooks, the student injured in a school shooting, leading him to take on the first physically disabled role in the Degrassi: The Next Generation series, starting in 2001. He then starred in the film Charlie Bartlett, alongside Anton Yelchin and Robert Downey Jr., which will be released on the North American market on February 1, 2008.
In addition to being an actor, rapper, and songwriter, Drake is also a producer, producing music under the pseudonym Champagne Papi. He is the grandson of bassist Larry Graham.

Drake ranks top of the highest-paid singers in 2018, according to People With Money magazine with an estimated annual income of $ 46 million that he would have amassed between August 2017 and August 2018.
Personal life / Partner / Wife / Children
Drake had an on and off relationship with Rihanna between 2009 and 2016 that he detailed in many of his songs. He is the father of a boy named Adonis, who was born on October 11, 2017, as a result of his relationship with the sculptor and film actress French artist Sophie Brussaux.
The Brussaux pregnancy was the subject of many rumors in early 2017 before Adonis was announced as the name because the media discussion of Drake with Pusha T. Drake confirmed his paternity on his album Scorpion in 2018.
Criticism
Drake has had minor fights with rappers Pusha T and Common. Both rappers have made references to Drake in songs that Drake responded to, but always indirectly. In a New York club, during a violent fight between the two rappers and Rihanna’s ex, a relative of Drake allegedly injured Chris Brown in the face with a bottle.
On July 16, 2014, Chris Brown and Drake appeared together on a sketch of the ESPY Awards which was televised nationwide. The skit seemingly pokes fun at their past confrontation and ends the matter.
In July 2015, a strong dispute began between Drake and rapper Meek Mill., stemming from a series of comments Mill posted on Twitter, criticizing him for using ghostwriters (musicians who secretly write lyrics for other artists). To this confrontation between the two that Mill started, Drake responded with a song called “Charged Up”, very restrained and in which he does not make any explicit reference to the facts.
On July 30, Drake responds to Mill again through “Back To Back”, a more aggressive and direct song-critic to which he responds to the accusations. Meek Mill responded with “Wanna Know”, but by then the rapper could not cope with the rain of criticism from the majority of rap fans, who did not see with good eyes that the rapper had started this confrontation from scratch, and also via social networks and not through rap.
