Diljit Singh Dosanjh Biography
Daljit Singh Dosanjh (born 6 January 1984) is an Indian actor, singer, television presenter, and internet personality. He works in Punjabi and Hindi films. He is known as one of the leading artists in the Punjabi music industry. He has acted in Punjabi Cinema in ‘Jutt and Juliet’ (2012), Jutt and Juliet 2 (2013), Punjab 1984 (2015), Sardar Ji (2016), ‘Ambarsariya’ (2016), Sardar Ji 2 (2016).
And has acted in superhit films like Super Singh (2017), which are among the most successful Punjabi films in history. She made her singing debut in the year 2000 with her debut album Ishq Da Ura Ada. He made his Bollywood debut in 2016 with the film Flying Punjab for which he won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.

Early life
Diljit born on January 6, 1984, to the district of the village Dosanjh Kalan, a Sikh family. Her father Balbir Singh is a retired employee of Punjab Roadways and mother Sukhwinder Kaur is a housewife. He also has an older sister and a younger brother.
Diljit spent his childhood in Dosanjh Kalan and then moved to Ludhiana, Punjab, where he completed his formal education, which included a high school diploma from Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School. While still in school, he started performing kirtan at the nearby Gurdwara Sahib.
Ishq Da Uda Ada and Dil (first song)
Diljit released his debut album Ishq Da Uda Ada in 2004 with T-Series distribution company Finton Cassettes. Rajinder Singh of Finton helped Dosanjh to start in the Punjabi music industry for the first time and suggested to change his first name to Diljit instead of Daljit.
The music was composed by Bablu Mahindra and the lyrics were penned by Balvir Boparai. Dosanjh sang eight songs and the producers made a music video for the album’s title track. The following year, in 2004, he releases his second album Dil, along with Finton Cassettes.
Other cassettes and singles
Dosanjh’s third album, Smile, featured “Nachh Diyan Alran Kuwariyan” and “Paggan Pochviyan Wale” songs. The album was released by Finton Cassettes in 2005. Her next album, Ishq Ho Gaya, was released by Finton Cassettes in 2006. Her next album, Chocolate, came out in 2008. In 2009, Dosanjh released four separate singles Bhagat Singh, No Tension, Power of Duet, and Dance with Me. In 2010, he sang in Mel Rabba, which was filmed on Jimmy Shergill.
Entry into Punjabi movies and Lak 28 Kudi Da
Dosanjh entered Punjabi films in 2011. His first film, The Lion of Punjab, was released in February 2011. Although the film flopped at the box office, the song “Lak 28 Kudi Da” from the film’s soundtrack was a huge success. The song reached number 1 on the official Asian download chart in the USA, published by the BBC.
He was accompanied by Yo Yo Honey Singh in this song. In July 2011, his second Punjabi film Jihne Mera Dil Luteya was released. In this film, Gippy Grewal and Neeru Bajwa Also had a role and the film did good business. Dosanjh sang six of the twelve tracks in the film’s soundtrack.
In November of the same year, Diljit announced that he would not release his controversial album Urban Pendu, which included “15 Saal” of singing. In this single, which was with Yo Yo Honey Singh, he talked about the different behaviors of underage girls and their proliferation of alcohol, drugs, and tattoos. He wrote on his Facebook page: “It was not my intention to hurt anyone’s feelings. I apologize to my fans who were waiting for this song.”
Diljit Dosanjh used a printed T-shirt with writing Urban Pendu to reminisce about tracks and albums in the music video for his 2013 hit single Proper Patola. He was wearing. Dosanjh released three different singles in 2011, “Catty Eyes,” “Dharti” and “Chustiyan.”
