Dania Shah, the third widow of the late political figure and television host Aamir Liaquat Hussain, has confirmed her second marriage. Dania Shah, who gained widespread attention after marrying Aamir Liaquat, revealed her marriage to her lawyer, Hakeem Shehzad, in a TikTok video.
In the video, Dania Shah stated that she tied the knot a few months ago, citing personal challenges in her life as the reason for needing a Mahram. She also featured a video message from her new husband, Hakeem Shehzad, who confirmed their marriage.
Hakeem Shehzad shared that the couple married a few months back and that they were now publicly acknowledging their union. Dania Shah had previously married Aamir Liaquat in February 2022 when she was 18 years old. However, three months later, in May, she filed for annulment in a Punjab court. During this time, Aamir Liaquat’s alleged audio recordings and indecent videos were leaked, which were attributed to Dania Shah. Shortly after these events, Aamir Liaquat passed away on June 9, 2022.
Following his death, Aamir Liaquat’s children and his first wife, Bushra Iqbal, filed a complaint against her with the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA). Legal proceedings regarding the case are ongoing in both FIA and Karachi courts. In addition, she has announced her intention to file an inheritance claim against Aamir Liaquat’s heirs.
