In 2006, he started the non-political association “Youth Parliament” to promote the development of Youth. The main purpose of this organization was to aware youth of their roles in society. In 2011 Abrar joined the political party PTI (Pakistan Tehrek E Insaf). In 2012 he became the president of Youth Wing. In the same year, he fought for a seat in the National Assembly (Narowal) as a candidate of Pakistan Tahreek E Insaf.
As a Philanthropist:
Being a Philanthropist, he established “Sahara”, a charitable organization. This is the short form of “Services Aimed at Health and Awakening in Remote Areas”. The purpose of his organization to foster facilities of education and health in the area. In Narowal, he established the “Sugra Shafii Medical Complex”. In 2019, he also announced his next project of Sahara, the establishment of a cancer hospital in Narowal.
Abrar-ul-Haq Family:
In 2005, Abrar got married to Hareem Abrar. The couple is blessed with a son Mohammad Taha and two daughters Inaya and Hamna.
Abrar-ul-Haq Education:
Abrar-ul-Haq did his Bachelor’s from “Sir Syed College” in Rawalpindi. After this, he took admission to Quaid-e- Azam University Islamabad to complete his Master’s degree in Social Sciences. After completing his education, Abrar joined Aitchison College as a geography teacher.
